Yield: 6-8 servings

1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
dash of salt
1 egg, beaten
1 can (16 ounces) fruit cocktail, drained
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Cooking time- 50 minutes

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and egg. Add fruit cocktail and blend well. Turn into ungreased 8 inch square pan. In small bowl, mix brown sugar and nuts. Spread on top of fruit mixture in pan
Bake 50 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream.
