Ingredients

Tart
1/4 cup butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup white flour
1 egg
2 tbsp very cold water

Filling
1/3 cup of melted butter
1 1/2 cups of brown sugar
3 eggs
1 cup of raisins
1/2 cup of pecans
1 tsp vanilla

Cooking Instructions

Tart filler - Stir all the filling ingredients together in a bowl and set aside until tart shells are prepared.

Tart shells - Mix flour and salt in a large bowl.

Cut cold butter into walnut sized cubes.

Incorporate butter into flour until dough is the consistency of oatmeal.

In a small separate bowl, whisk together water and egg.

Add the mix and blend smooth until dough holds together well.

Chill for 30 minutes, then roll out and cut with a floured cutter to create circles.

Press circles into a greased muffin tin or tart pan and spoon filler to 3/4 full in each tart

Bake at 400F for 15-20 minutes; filling will be lightly browned but still bubbling.
