Ingredients

250 grams ground beef
250 grams ground pork
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1 large egg
4 Tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 onion, diced
2 Tablespoon tomato paste
1 large can diced tomato
2 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped
2 teaspoons chopped fresh basil
2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary
salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

n large bowl, combine beef, pork, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg and parmesan cheese.

Form mixture into 1 inch balls.

In large skillet, fry meatballs in 2 Tablespoons olive oil over medium-high heat until done, about 6-8 minutes.

Add garlic and onions and fry an additional 3-4 minutes.

Add tomato paste, tomatoes, thyme, basil, rosemary, salt and pepper.

Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
