Yield: 9 cups

3/4 cup minced onion
1 1/2 cups chopped celery (stalks and leaves)
3/4 cup margarine
8 cups soft bread crumbs
2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
1 1/2 teaspoons sage
1 teaspoon thyme
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
In a skillet, cook and stir onion and celery until tender.
Stir margarine mixture and about 1/3 of the bread cubes .
Turn into a deep bowl.
Add remaining ingredients and toss.
Makes enough for a 12 pound turkey
