1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
3/4 cup shortening (Crisco)
5 cups confectioners' sugar (sifted)
Measure all ingredients in large mixer bowl for 3 minutes, then at high speed for 5 minutes.
Add more sugar if necessary to thicken or more water to thin, if needed for spreading
consistency.
Can be used in decorating tube. Store leftover icing in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
