1 pound sweet Italian sausage, removed from the casing
1 green pepper, diced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
3 (1 3/4 ounces) cans beef broth
1 (15 ounces ) can stewed tomatoes
1/2 pound small shaped pasta
grated Parmesan cheese
In 6 quart heavy pot, over medium heat, brown sausage stirring to break up meat; pour off fat.
Stir in green pepper and garlic; cook and stir for 2 minutes.
Add broth and crushed tomatoes.
Heat to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer 15 minutes.
Add pasta and cook 10 minutes or until done.
Serve warm sprinkled with cheese.
