Ingredients

Yield: 8 servings

1/2 pound butter (no substitutions)
5 eggs
2 cups cake flour
1 2/3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla

Cooking Instructions

Cooking time: 50 minutes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream butter and sugar.
Drop in eggs, one at a time, stirring after each addition.
Fold in flour and mix well.
Add vanilla.

Bake for about 50 minutes.
