Ingredients

Yield: 12 servings

1 (2 layer size) package yellow cake mix (optional)
1 (4 servings) package vanilla pudding mix
3/4 cup eggnog
1/4 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
powdered sugar (optional)

Cooking Instructions

Cooking time: 45 minutes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggnog and vegetable oil with mixer; beat on low speed until moistened.

Add eggs and nutmeg; beat on low speed until combined, then on medium to high speed 2 minutes.
Pour into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan.

Bake 40-45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.

Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes; remove from pan.
Cool completely.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
