Cake Ingredients:

1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 package yellow cake mix
1 package (4 servings) butter pecan pudding mix
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup oil
1/2 teaspoon maple extract

Glaze Ingredients:

2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon water to
1 cup sifted confectioners sugar



Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine sugar, nuts and cinnamon; set aside.

Combine remaining ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Blend, then beat at medium speed for 4 minutes.
Pour 2/3 of the batter into a greased and floured 10 inch bundt pan.
Sprinkle with sugar-nut mixture, keeping it away from the sides of the pan.
Top with remaining batter.

Bake for about 1 hour or until a cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Do not underbake.

Cool in the pan 15 minutes.
Remove from the pan; finish cooling on a wire rack.

Glaze:
Add 2 tablespoons maple syrup and 1 tablespoon water to 1 cup sifted confectioners sugar.
