6 medium apples
1 tablespoon cinnamon
6 tables of sugar
2 3/4 cups of flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of oil
2 cups of sugar
1/4 cup of orange juice
2 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
4 eggs
Preheat oven to 350. This cake is best made in a tube pan. Grease pan. Peel and cut up apples into chunks and sprinkle on sugar and cinnamon. Toss apple mixture and set aside.
Stir flour, baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl whisk oil, orange juice, sugar and vanilla together. Mix dry ingredients together with wet ingredients and then add eggs one at a time. Mix well then pour half of the batter into pan. Add half of the apples and then the rest of the batter. Add remaining apple mixture to the top. Bake for approx 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick comes out clean
