Yield: 12 muffins

1 1/2 cups flour, sifted
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup seedless raisins
1/4 cup butter
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup milk
Cooking time: 20-22 minutes

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 12 muffin pan cups.
Sift flour, baking powder,salt,sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg together. Dredge raisins with 1/4 cup flour mixture. Cut in
butter and add raisin mixture. Combine egg with pumpkin and milk. Add to flour mixture. Mix only to combine. Fill
greased muffin cups 2/3 full.
Bake at 400 degrees 20-22 minutes. Serve hot.
