Firehouse Chili: Date Added: 4 Jul 2013 Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds ground beef (browned and drained)
2 medium onions, chopped
1 large green pepper, diced
2 ckives garlic, minced
2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (30 ounce) can kidney beans
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon brown sugar, packed

Cooking Instructions:

Cooking time: 8 hours

Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.

Cook on low 8 hours or on high 5 hours
