1 package Butter Recipe Golden Cake Mix
1 cup finely chopped pecans
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup sour cream
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
4 large eggs
1 cup confectioner's sugar
2 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Grease and flour 10 inch tube pan.
For filling: combine 2 tablespoons cake mix, pecans, brown sugar and cinnamon; mix well. Set aside.
Combine remaining dry cake mix, sour cream, oil, sugar, water and eggs in a large bowl.
Beat 2 minutes at high speed.
Turn two thirds of batter into pan; sprinkle with filling.
Spoon remaining batter evenly over filling mixture.
Bake for 45-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on rack 25 minutes; remove from pan.
For glaze:
blend together confectioners sugar and milk; drizzle over warm cake
