Easy Pound Cake: Date Added: 22 Jul 2013 Ingredients:

Yield: 1 pound cake

2 1/2 cups cake flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup shortening
3/4 cup milk
5 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup margarine (1 stick) at room temperature

Cooking Instructions:

Cooking time: 60 minutes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease a 12 cup bundt pan, no spraying.

Combine everything into a large bowl.
Beat 20 minutes with mixer at medium speed.
Scrape down sides of bowl.
Pour into pan.

Bake for 1 hour or until cake tester comes out clean.

Stand in pan on wire rack 10 minutes.
Remove cake from pan.
Cool on the rack.
