2 cups sifted flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg, well beaten
1 cup milk
1/3 cup oil
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries or cranberries, drained
Cooking time: 25 minutes

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Grease muffin tins.
Sift dry ingredients into bowl; make a well in the center.
Combine egg, milk and oil.
Add all at once to dry ingredients.
Stir quickly, just until dry ingredients have been blended in.
Gently stir in blueberries or cranberries.
Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full
Bake for about 25 minutes.
