1/3 cup shortening
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds chicken legs
Cooking time: 45 minutes

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Melt shortening in small pan and set aside.
Mix flour, salt, paprika and pepper in paper bag.
Wash and pat dry chicken legs.
Put 3-4 chicken pieces at a time in paper bag and shake to coat chicken with flour mixture.
Arrange chicken in a single layer in ungreased baking pan, 13 X 9 X 2 inches.
Drizzle with the melted shortening.
Bake uncovered 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
