My Grandma's Pound Cake Date Added: 22 Jul 2013

Ingredients

Yield: 1 pound cake
----------------------------

1 pound real butter
3 cups sugar
6 large fresh eggs
4 cups cake flour
2/3 cup milk

Cooking Instructions

Cooking time: 1 hour 20 minutes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease and flour large tube pan.

Mix by hand butter and sugar, next mix 1 egg at a time.
Add flour and milk (alternate).
Mix well by hand.

Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Let cake cool before removing from pan.
