Bicardi Rum Cake: Date Added: 21 Jul 2013 Ingredients:

Preparation time: 15 minutes

1 cup chopped pecans
1 (18 1/2 ounce) yellow cake mix
1 package (4 servings) vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup dark rum
Glaze:
1 stick margarine
1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup dark rum

Cooking Instructions:

Cooking time: 60 minutes

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan or bundt pan.

Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan.
Mix all cake ingredients together.
Pour batter over nuts in the pan.

Bake 1 hour.

Set on rack to cool.

Invert on serving plate.
Prick top.
Drizzle and brush glaze evenly over top and sides.

Glaze:
Melt margarine in a pan.
Stir in water and sugar.

Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
